Batman: Assault on Arkham is set within the Batman: Arkham video game universe after Arkham: Origins and about 2 years before Arkham: Asylum. The script by Heath Corson was awesome. The plot was nicely structured and executed by directors Oliva and Spaulding perfectly. The animation quality of Batman: Assault on Arkham was spectacular. There is a nice amount of detail and dimension. The character portrayals were spot on. The action scenes were great, a lot going on.

A blackops mission to Arkham Asylum to recover evidence is taken by the only team that could do it, Task Force X, aka the Suicide Squad. Task Force X’s roster includes Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, Black Spider, Captain Boomerang and Killer Frost. Recently Batman foiled the Riddler’s ploy but the Edward Nygma still has a few cards up his sleeve.
