Son of Batman is an adaptation of Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert’s Batman and Son © 2006. The animation of Son of Batman by WB Animation was, as always, great. Nice fluid action scenes and back and foreground elements bring depth to every minute. The story was well written and paced so that each event comes by organically and doesn’t feel forced. The voice-actors were superbly chosen. Each cast member does a very memorable performance. I particularly liked Stuart Allan’s Damian. It is exactly as I pictured him sounding in my head. And Jason O’Mara might just be the new Kevin Conroy. I really enjoyed his performance.

Damian Wayne, heir to the title of Ra’s al Ghul – the Demon’s Head. The son of Talia al Ghul and Bruce Wayne, raised and trained by the strict and rigid standards of the League of Assassins. Quite possibly the most badass young boy on the planet and definitely one of the most intelligent as he has his father’s keen mind. But it all came crashing down when Deathstroke – the previous heir to the Demon’s Head – killed Damian’s grandfather, Ra’s al Ghul. Now, with their worlds shattered, Talia introduces Damian to his father, the Batman. Can Batman turn his only son from the murderous path chosen for him by his mother and grandfather? Can Damian accept his father’s teachings and become the next Robin?
